Last December,Abu went to hisn grandfather's house in the village.It had been raining heavily for a week.Soon,the village were flooded.The drains were clogged and the river overflowed.Abu panicked when he saw water flowing into the kitchen.His grandfather was busy pickingup his kitchen utensils.Abu helped to keep of the important documents and things.
Luckily,some volunteers came in boats.They helped the victims.The victims were taken to the community hall safely.They brought along some of thier belongings and documents.
The victims had to stay in the community hallfor two days.At the hall,they spent thier time talking,sleeping and eating only.After two days,the flood subsided.
The villagers returned home.They were sad to see the condition of thier house.The house were dirty and muddly.Abu helped his grandfather to clean the house.They were thankful that no lives were lost in the flood.
